‘Nowadays, people don’t help people. There’s no love in the world — there’s no love.’

Why are you voting?

We need change. We need change in the city of Philadelphia and in the whole country. [Some] people don’t work, don’t have a job, don’t have food. The government can do better than this. People in the United States are dying from hunger — people here.

What presidential platform policies or issues are most important to you?

Health insurance, and to help people to get health insurance. A lot of people don’t have that and they need that. They need a better government. Nowadays, people don’t help people. There’s no love in the world — there’s no love.

Why are you voting?

I want to see progress. They say, “I’ll do this,” or “I’ll do this.” They don’t do anything. Even the people who are coming from another country, they don’t want them here. They separate the kids. They separate the people from their families. I don’t like it.
